How Containers Move Throughout the Produce Supply Chain

Process:

1. Containers originate from the ORBIS Service Center.
2. Growers/Shippers/packers fill RPCs with harvested product and send to retail distribution centers.
3. Packed containers arrive at retail stores with "one-touch merchandising" approach. Consumers shop from merchandised containers.
4. Empty plastic reusable containers are collapsed and returned to retail distribution center for consolidation.
5. Containers are returned to ORBIS Service Center for sorting, cleaning and reissue.
